Fiordland Sauvignon Blanc 2022 ~ $13 glass / $60 bottle
Marlborough – A classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc produced especially for the Black Dog Bar by the Peregrine Winery. Tropical fruits dominated with ripe peach, passionfruit, elderflower and a vibrant & fresh pineapple finish. 


Hunters Sauvignon Blanc 2023 ~ $14 glass / $65 bottle
Marlborough – A classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc shows ripe passionfruit, lime, and grapefruit notes.  Multi layered palate of citrus and some minerality make this wine rich and complex.  


Maude Closeburn – Chardonnay 2022 ~ $14 glass / $65 bottle
Central Otago –   Juicy nectarine and pear fruits, with apple blossom floral tones giving a nice lift to the attractive bouquet. The palate displays wonderful purity of tree fruit flavour. There is a nice flow to the structure and length, with good balance and chewy acidity. 


Wet Jacket Chardonnay 2022 ~ $15 glass / $70 bottle
Central Otago – Fragrant with Guava, pineapple, and Orange blossom, Dry with sweet white stone fruit, citrus, grapefruit, burnt orange, and hints of almond and cashew. Medium-bodied with good complexity, firm acid backbone, and a long mineral finish.


Wet Jacket – Pinot Gris 2023 ~ $13 glass / $62 bottle
Central Otago – A hand-harvested dry style Pinot Gris with ripe pear & stone fruits in the nose & palate


Peregrine – Pinot Gris 2023 ~ $14 glass / $65 bottle
Central Otago – Fresh and bright aromatics of ripe apricot and nectarine. A luscious palate with layers of stonefruit and hazelnut flavours.  


Amisfield – Dry Riesling 2022 ~ $14 glass / $66 bottle
Central Otago – A crisp burst of granny smith apples and finger limes on the nose. The palate flows seamlessly with a wave of citrus and a charming hint of white flowers. This is framed by an appealing juiciness and a fine mineral edge. A delightful expression of riesling with transportive-like qualities.


Wild Earth – Pinot Noir Rose 2022 ~ $15 glass / $68 bottle
Central Otago – A vivid pink hue that hints at the great energy and fresh aromas that will unfold in the glass. Intensely fragrant, the floral notes and bright red fruit followed by a crisp finish sing beautifully of Central Otago Rosé. Enticing aromas of strawberry, cherry, cranberry and red apple are carried long on the palate by the fresh acidity.

Fiordland – Pinot Noir 2019 ~ $14 glass / $62 bottle
Central Otago – The local favourite! Produced especially for the Black Dog Bar by Peregrine Winery. This Pinot is bursting with floral aromas and red cherries. Rich and juicy with delicious raspberry, hints of wild strawberry and spice flavours. 


Van Asch – Pinot Noir 2021 ~ $15 glass / $70 bottle
Central Otago – A handcrafted wine made in very limited quantities from our Bendigo Vineyard in Central Otago. Smoke, graphite and black cherry on the nose, immediately redolent of Bendigo. A powerful wine, with grip and texture starting early on the palate. There is an amalgam of plum, dark cherry, boysenberry fruit along with new leather and warm schist rock. A full flowing finish with great depth of tannin. 


Wild Earth – Pinot Noir 2022 ~ $16 glass / $72 bottle
Central Otago – Deep garnet hue with intriguing aromas of cherry, black currant, plum, cedar, sage, liquorice, and wild thyme.


Amisfield – Pinot Noir 2021 ~ $18 glass / $82 bottle
Central Otago – Black doris plum, star anise and spice combine with classical Central Otago dark fruits. The wine shows a lovely savoury earthy edge which adds to the overall complexity of the offering. 


Elderton – Barossa Shiraz 2021 ~ $15 glass / $68 bottle
Barossa – Vibrant red fruits and gamey depth with a touch of spicy cloves leading to a seamless finish. Juicy long tannins laced with vibrant red berry sweetness and oak spice.


Man O’ War – Island Blend 2020 ~ $15 glass / $70 bottle
Waiheke and Ponui Islands – The Island blend 2019 is brooding on the nose with blackberry, bramble, black tea and a touch of provenance herbs. The Palate is medium bodied with red berry fruits, a touch of black olive and graphite with a light hint of oak and pepper spice on the finish. 


Valli – Bannockburn Pinot Noir 2022 ~ $22 glass / $100 bottle
Bright garnet hue with a lifted fragrance that mingles dried florals, fresh mint, wild thyme, Otago cherry, mulberry, and new leather. The flavours complement the aromas with forest fruits, lush florals and an intriguing flinty note.

Veuve Du Vernay – Ice 200ml ~ $12.50
France – Fruity, floral and fresh with citrus notes. A young mellow wine with a generous foam, fine and numerous bubbles. 


Maude – Methode Traditionnelle NV ~ $15 / $65
Central Otago – This Methode is delicate rose gold in colour with rich and complex aromas – Layers of lemon blossom, brioche & biscuit with hints of almond nuttiness. Elegant and finely structured.
