Operating since October 2004, the award winning Fiordland Cinema is located next door to The Black Dog Bar. The cinema was specially constructed to house regular screenings of the locally filmed movies Ata Whenua- Shadowland and Deer Wars (collectively also known as Fiordland on Film).
